double jots this week...

A friend of Robin Prestridge (a guy she went to high school with) has a 9 month old son, Joshua Vincent, that was just diagnosed with cancer. He is in Children's in B'ham . Please be in prayer for this little man and his family. You can read more about him and his journey at www.caringbridge.org/visit/joshuagvincent

Mr. Bernard Austin passed away yesterday morning. Please keep Mrs. Janie and Veronica in your prayers. Visitation was today at 4:00pm, with his services being tomorrow at UMC at 2:00pm.

The Builders and Key Clubs of RCHS are selling ornaments that will be placed on the wreaths in the Wreaths Across America ceremony on 12/12/09. The wreaths will remain at Ft. Mitchell until January. The cost for each wreath is $5.00. You can specify the branch of service where you want the ornament placed. A name, title, message, in honor, in memory, etc. The money will further the cause for WAA and help pay for the transportation for the students to the event. If interested please contact June Thackston at june2299@aol.com How fitting to be able to post this wonderful event on Veteran's Day. Thanks for all you and these students do for the fallen heroes of our country! Thanks again to all of the veteran's out there who have fought for the freedom to allow me to post this blog!

A note to all TIGER MOM - OFFICERS, MEMBERS, AND INTERESTED MOMS... There will be a meeting in the new gym at 7:15pm on Monday 11/16. There will be a vote to determine the future of Tiger Moms... whether to continue, what to do with the money, what to do if Tiger Moms has a future... All those interested please attend! If you have any questions please contact Tracy Carpenter.

Have a great day!
