Updates

Spoke with Brooke Laney today... she is maintaining and feeling a little better. Her new doc will do another series of MRI's and then go from there... she had a smile on her face, that was a welcome relief!

Mark Prestridge will be having his appendix removed soon. When I spoke with Robin they did not have a date set yet. The docs believe he is having a chronic appendix problem rather than it being an emergency situation.

I still have not heard anything from my second visit to the doc. I guess no news is good news... right?!?!?! =]

The A & M Fire Dept. will have their annual BBQ this Saturday... come out and get some great BBQ cooked by Gene Crouch.

I also spoke with Marty Kirby about the evacuees... they are in need of bags... like duffel bags, small suitcases, totes... anything that they can put their clothes in. A lot of them are carrying their clothes in trash bags. Due to $$$$$ donations... SU has been able to buy them fresh underwear and socks. Soles for Souls is providing footwear for them. Marty wanted to make sure that we all knew that the evacuees have been very thankful for all that has been given to them... Once again, Randolph County circles around and helps others out! Good job guys!

Good luck to our RCHS Tigers! We have faith in you guys!

Have a blessed day! Donna
