Please continue to pray for:
Nell Haynes - Wedowee Hospital
Carolyn Daniel - Wedowee Hospital
Frances Highfield - home from the hospital
Trevor Newkirk - stitches in chin
Alexis Hobbs - stitches in chin
Mark Prestridge - his surgery went well and he is at home recovering
Brooke Laney - MRI 10/01
Also continue to pray for the Henley and Holmes families as they walk through their grief.
My tests came back ALL CLEAR! -- of course, I had to call them, and then they said, "oh yeah, it came out fine, come back in a year", I guess someone needed to make a car payment. =] Thanks for all of the prayers!
Boy!!! This county's football teams have really been getting banged up lately... The injured players (just from this last week!!!!) are...
Ty Sparks - 7th grade - Wadley - broken leg
Trey Exum - 11th grade - RCHS - severe ligament damage to knee
Deaven McDaniel - 9th grade - RCHS - broken leg
There are SEVERAL others who are still on the side lines...
Tyler Hobbs - 7th grade - RCHS - broken leg
Daniel DeJesus (? I think) - 10th grade - RCHS - broken leg
and more...
Please pray for ALL of our (all schools) athletes (not just the football players) that we might be injury free! Hope you guys are feeling better soon!
Also, Congratulations to Ethan Fowler for being named the Buster Miles Player of the Game for Friday September 5, 2008 game RCHS vs CC. Also of note, Brady Phillips blocked 3 field goal/extra point attempts in ONE GAME against Clay County! He also had a blocked extra point in the game against Winterboro! Way to hussle Brady!
Congratulations to the RCHS JV football team. The Tuesday game against Ranburne (in Ranburne) resulted in a tie 22-22. We play them again this Tuesday at home, GO TIGERS!!!

Please send me scores and highlights for ALL of the RCHS (or other RC schools) sports!!!! I really want to include ALL of the sports in this... I need some contacts for the other sports! Volleyball, little league, anything!
I really try not to leave anything/anyone out, but I work strictly on a word of mouth basis. I have to depend on you guys to send me the info that you would like to see on here. I am still looking for some contacts for the other churches and community events in our area. I feel really bad when someone tells me that I have left something off! Please help me get your info out there.
God Bless! Donna
