RCHS Varsity Football... they beat Winterboro to the tune of 34 to 14... Way to go guys! You have worked really hard and it shows. And the cheerleaders did A LOT of push ups! I bet they are sore.
Alabama Roll Tide wore out the Clemson Tigers while in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome.
Auburn beat Louisiana Monroe.
and....
The Georgia Bulldogs beat Georgia Southern.
Congratulations to all of our teams!!!!
The French Hammond Park Fun Day seemed to be a huge success... until 6:30 (poor Roger Hammet and Ryan Robertson! - they got two good songs in, then...) when the monsoon rains blew in!!!!! The kids (and even some adults) appeared to be having lots of fun and hopefully raised lots of money for FHP. As always the Wackadoodle Hair (by Trendsetters Salon, Pam, Tammy, and Tracie), face painting (Brenda, Haley, and Sylvia Grant), helicopter rides (The Dennis Sanders Family), and BBQ Plates (Gene Crouch) all had waiting lines for most of the day. Jennifer and Brenda Boone (The Dance Center on Main) entertained the crowds with singers, dancers, and games. All of the vendors were very successful! Lynne, Chris, Sylvia, Nick, and the Board of FHP are all thankful to everyone who helped make this such a great success.
