Ed Creed, Jim Morris, and more

Most of you have heard, I am sure, that Ed Creed is in Trinity Medical Center after having suffered a heart attack and some strokes. He is in pretty serious condition and he and his family need our prayers. Pray for stability in his symptoms and healing. An address to send cards and goodies is the following:

Jim Morris is presently in surgery to remove fluid from around his heart. My previous info was slightly incorrect as the previous fluid was on the side of his lung. However, he has since developed fluid around his heart and is currently in surgery to have that fluid removed. He will be in CICU tonight and hopefully moved to a regular room tommorrow (If all goes well!). They are hoping that this is the last set back. Pray for healing! Please also pray for the family of Lyn Higgins. Lyn was in school at RCHS. He was killed in a car accident last week. His funeral was monday. Please pray for this family.


The animal shelter is also having their annual book sale on saturdays, may 9 and 16 in Roanoke.



The Wedowee Area Ladies Chorus will present a concert of spirituals on Sunday afternoon, April 26th, at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Wedowee First United Methodist Church. This will be the 6th concert performed by the Ladies Chorus. There is no charge to attend, and the public is invited. Following the performance there will be a reception sponsored by the East Alabama Arts Society.
