Madea and others...





And the Winner is Madea/AKA Ricky Daniel... Wedowee Hospital hosted a Womanless Beauty Pagent this past Saturday. The proceeds go to Relay for Life. I definitely think this needs to be an annual event!!!

I spoke with Tammy Fetner Saturday. She told me that her daddy, Alan Taylor, is doing well. He has completed the round of treatments that were originally prescribed. He will now have some light radiation to his brain for prevention. Please continue to pray for his complete healing.

WEDOWEE MIDDLE SCHOOL NEWS:
Wedowee Middle is hosting their 2nd Annual Tour of Homes. Even if you aren't able to attend, please buy your tickets. You (or anyone who doesn't live in Wedowee full time) can even buy tickets on Ebay! This school has a wonderful, caring staff with a group of parents that are unmatched. Helping the kids is what it is all about! Come out and support them in their endeavours!

The Wedowee Middle School PTO would like to wish you a wonderful spring. We are the parent/teacher organization of Wedowee Middle School, the 4th through 6th grade school in Wedowee, Alabama. Our school is located just off Alabama Highway 48 and is only minutes away from the beautiful Lake Wedowee. Currently, our school serves approximately 210 students from the city of Wedowee and the surrounding areas of Randolph County.

We are excited to announce our 2nd Annual Lake Wedowee Tour of Homes. This year’s Tour of Homes will showcase five gorgeous homes on Saturday, May 2nd from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Tickets will be $15.00 in advance or $20.00 on the day of the event. If you’ve ever wanted to see some of the area’s most breathtaking homes, then you are sure to enjoy this tour.

The proceeds from the tour will benefit our school by providing funding to assist with several projects including an improved intercom system, new bleachers for our gym, enhanced classroom identification, and possibly a new school sign.

Tickets will be available at the following locations: A Brand New Look, Bank of Wedowee, E-bay, H & M Drugs, Kountry Kitchen, Norton’s Flooring, Randolph County Chamber of Commerce, Steele Chiropractic, and Wedowee Middle School.
