RCHS Volleyball update... The Jr High played in a Tournament in Munford Saturday, but I haven't heard how they fared. The varsity's got only one event this week, but it's a biggie. They host a tri-match on Thursday, featuring Cleburne County HS (Heflin) and Woodland. Our girls play CCHS in the first match, then Woodland will play CCHS, then we play Woodland in the final match. For what it's worth, in last weeks state rankings, Woodland is ranked #8 in 2A and we played them strong in our first match up this season. First match starts a 5:00.

GOOD LUCK LADY TIGERS!!!!

On a side (volleyball) note... (this is the only one I know about, so if you have a ranked player and would like them mentioned, please send it to me)... Congratulations to Morgan Edwards... she is ranked in the world of volleyball. Since I'm not that versed in volleyball lingo, I'm not quite sure what that means, but I understand that it is a great honor! Congratulations Morgan!

A quick update... (from Robert Kicker - Sarah's brother-in-law) Sarah McKay came thru the surgery just great. She has some pain, but everything went well.

Also, Roger Hammett was put in the hospital in Opelika yesterday with severe abdominal pain. As of last night, they were not sure what the cause is.

Hope you all have a great day!
Donna
