Carolyn Daniel

Spoke with Ricky last night... he told me that his mom, Carolyn Daniel, fell on Thursday and broke her foot. She was transported to Opelika and had surgery yesterday. Unfortunately, it was her right foot, her good foot... as most of you know, she was diagnosed last year with Polymyocitis (a sort of ALS/Lou Gehrig's lite). It causes her muscles to weaken and give in (very similar to what my daddy had {ALS} and my grandfather -dad's dad - had polymycitis - so I am all too familiar with the affects). However, they have been assured that it won't affect her breathing, so that is an answer to prayer.

Please be in prayer for this whole family as they rally around Ms. Carolyn. Monday, she will be transported back to Wedowee Hospital for 21 days of physical therapy, then home. Send her some cards... or go visit once she is settled in.

Ricky and Sharon have lots on their plate. Her parents have moved into the home in front of theirs, so they are able to help day to day. Sharon is recovering from her surgery... she admitted that she was tired (that's a huge admission coming from her). They have hectic and tiring days ahead of them.
